Congratulations - Netball

On Tuesday this week, Olivia Harris competed in the NSW All Schools Tri-Series between NSWCIS, CCC and CHS. Olivia was a dominant member of the NSWCIS team and her performance on the day gained her selection in the NSW All Schools Merit team. Olivia has spent many hours at training over the past 6 years to reach this pinnacle in netball along the sports pathway. She is to be congratulated on this fine achievement.

Congratulations - Athletics

Congratulations to both Zara Nicholas and Will Zakis who broke ISA records at the Carnival this week. Zara broke the long jump record with a jump of 5.24m and Will broke the 800 m record with a time of 1min 55 seconds. Well done to both Zara and Will.

Athletics Carnival

The NSWCIS Athletics Carnival will be held on 19th September(this is an evening carnival at SOPAC). Congratulations to the following students who have qualified to compete at this Carnival:

Caspian Bahadori – 13 years Javelin
Harry Daniels - 16 years Discus
Montagu Darwin – 16 years High Jump
Keeden Harrison - 14 years 1500m
Amelie Hugo – 16 years 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m
Gabrielle McGee – 12 years Discus
Rose Nicholas – 13 years Javelin
Zara Nicholas – 15 years Javelin, Long Jump, Triple, Discus, Shot Put, 100m and 200m
James Reynolds – 16 years Shot Put
Tarana Stubenrauch – 17 years 800m and 1500m
William Zakis – 800m

Notes have been distributed, please ensure they are completed and returned promptly.

Uniforms

Once summer teams have been named please see Mrs Olmos in the Uniform Shop to confirm that your uniform from last season fits and has the correct number on your singlet. If you are new to the sport please go to the Uniform Shop to order your uniform. This must be done before the end of term to ensure uniforms are ready for Term 4.

House Sport

House sport will be held on the last day of school. Please ensure you bring wear your full school uniform for Valedictory celebrations and bring your sports uniform, including House polo, to school to change into.
