Prayer for Families
God, Our Father, loving and merciful, bring together and keep all families in perfect unity of love and mutual support.
Instill in each member the spirit of understanding and affection for each other.
Keep arguments and anger far from them, and for their occasional failures instill forgiveness and peace.
Amen
Dear Families,
This week was Family week and a timely reminder of the importance of our families, those we live with, and for many of us, those who may be far away. In our diverse school community many of us have family members living overeas and don't get to see them as often as we may like. Whilst we may be separated by land and sea, keeping our family close by in our hearts and in our prayers can help to maintain the connection we need each day. Our Trinity family is also an important community we all belong to. Let us hope that each member has a sense of belonging and importance and knows that we are here for each other in the great times and the times of challenge. Thank you all for that you bring to our school community through the wonderful children we teach each day.
On Wednesday we also celebrated Careers Week with a dress up day which allowed our children, and quite a few staff members, to come to Trinity dressed in the clothes of a career they would like to have. Thanks to all the families who helped their children dress up for the day, they looked amazing. I was a little confused when I arrived at school to see two Mr Anania's ready to teach for the day.
Family Week Sausage Sizzle
A reminder that tomorrow, Friday 17th May, we will be having a sausage sizzle for our children during the second break from 1:45pm. There will be no cost on this occassion as this is just a little celebration for the end of Family Week.
School Review Update
A reminder that our school reviewers, Judi and Marita, will be with us for two full days next week to complete an in depth review of our classrooms, practices, programs and policies. All the ground work has been done by staff and we will now look forward to this final stage and a comprehensive report and recommendations later in the year.
