This term, Our grade 1 and 2 students had a fantastic trip to Werribee Mansion! They learned about the past by comparing their lives to the Chirnside family and their servants. Exploring the mansion, they saw old artifacts and talked about how things have changed over time, especially with technology. They even got to see the laundry and washroom! In the laundry and washroom, they got hands-on, grating soap, washing clothes, and even helping to hang them out to dry. It was a fun and educational adventure, helping them understand history and how it affects their lives today. They came back with big smiles and lots of stories to share!
