Principal's News
Prayer: For those who have died in war.
Ever-living God we remember those whom you have gathered from the storm of war into the peace of your presence; may that same peace calm our fears, bring justice to all peoples and establish harmony among the nations, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
Dear Families,
On Monday 11/11 we, as a nation stop at 11:00am to reflect and remember all those who have died in war and in particular the ANZACS who died in Gallipoli. Whilst for many Australians their thoughts and prayers are with all Australians who died in that terrible war it is important on these days to also try and understand that all lives lost in war are equal and that as a global community we should all be praying and hoping that we can one day soon live in a world free from war. Our children did a great job in stopping, praying and reflecting on what a tragedy war is for all those involved.
School Uniforms
Thank you to all those generous parents who have dropped off second hand uniforms to the office as this really helps us to build up the stock to make it available to other families. I have already had a number of requests from our new Prep families who are seeking some second hand items. Could I ask that anyone who has any items which no longer fit to drop these off in the office. I would really appreciate all those Year 6's leaving Trinity to also consider donating their school uniforms.
Staffing 2025
Staffing for 2025 has almost been finalized with a few changes to take place and some exciting ideas to support our children's learning even further in 2025. Children will find out who their teacher for next year will be on our 'Meet the Teacher Day' on Monday 16th December.
Student Reports and Student Led Conversations
Teachers are currently completing assessments in all areas of the curriculum and will then begin finalizing our Semester Two student reports. Mr Ru has already opened the booking platform for parents in Years 5 and 6 to book in a time to meet with class teachers, the other year levels will open on Friday. Once again this will involve students leading a conversation with parents to share their achievements in Semester Two. Parents will also have time to ask questions about the written report. Bookings are made via the Nforma Parent Portal.
OHSC: Out of hours school care: Introducing MACSEYE
As you know, Trinity has utilized the services of EXTEND OHSC for a number of years now and unfortunatley due to limited numbers has not always been able to provide Before School Care. At the end of this year we will discontinue our contract with EXTEND and will be beginning a partnership with MACSEYE. I will soon share more detailed information with you but we are looking forward to being able to provide a new, revitalized Before and After Care program.
