PAM STUDENT DIGEST

The PAM student digest is a module set up within the SIMON/PAM system. Its job is to send email notifications called “PAM Digests” to Parents of secondary students that include statistics on how your child/children have been doing over the past fortnight in terms of their: attendance, their learning, their past and upcoming school activities, and the newly added “Social Behaviour” section. 

The new Social Behaviour section includes a count of your child’s commendations they may receive during the digest period, as well as any academic or pastoral incidents during the digest period (an incident that a teacher/staff member has deemed as inappropriate behaviour).

Remember to look out for these emails, arriving on a Wednesday every fortnight so that you can stay informed on how your child is tracking and have discussions about the content of the email.

The Student Digest includes attendance information about:-

💻 Your child’s overall attendance for the current semester

💻A numerical value of the total sick pass absences your child has had during the “Digest Period” (the past fortnight)

💻Your child’s Class attendance for the current semester as a percentage

The Student Digest includes Learning Areas information about:-

💻Your child’s Tasks and Assessments that are currently overdue for the current semester

💻Your child’s Tasks and Assessments that are currently active (in other words, this is what your child is currently learning/working on)
