Dear Parents,
We have reached the end of an amazing and memorable 2024.
Our Christmas Liturgy last Thursday was a beautiful reflection of the true meaning of Christmas. Our students participated with great enthusiasm, and their dedication was evident in every aspect of the celebration. A special thank you to everyone who contributed to this liturgy. As we continue to embrace the spirit of Christmas, let us carry the lessons of love, compassion, and generosity into the New Year.
The Year 6 Graduation Mass last Friday was a truly special event that marked the culmination of our students' primary school journey. The mass was a beautiful celebration of their achievements, faith, and growth over the years. During the ceremony, we also took the opportunity to recognise and congratulate all our award winners. Their dedication, hard work, and outstanding accomplishments were celebrated with great pride. These students have not only excelled academically but have also embodied the core values of St. Aidan’s, including kindness, respect, and leadership.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our Year 6 graduates. Your journey at St. Aidan’s has been exemplary, and we are confident that you will continue to shine in your future endeavors. Thank you to all the parents, teachers, and staff for your support and for making this event a memorable milestone in our students' lives.
The Year 6 students continued their graduation celebrations by going bowling and enjoying lunch together.
It was lovely being able to farewell our leaving staff last Friday as a community. As we farewell some of our teachers who are moving on to new opportunities, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for their unwavering hard work and dedication. Their contributions to St Aidan’s have been invaluable in nurturing the minds and hearts of our students, and their commitment to excellence in education has left a lasting mark on our school community.
It is always hard to lose such valuable members of staff. However, we look at this opportunity positively and we thank each one of these amazing educators for allowing us to be part of their journey. They will all be greatly missed by the staff, students, parents and community of St Aidan’s.
