Christmas Market

Following on from the success of the Makers Market earlier in the year, the inaugural Christmas Market was held at King's College on Friday 15th November. Once again, the VCE VM class played a major role in organising this wonderful event which saw 26 stalls in operation, along with four busking performances. We would like to thank the students, staff and parents for your encouraging support of this idea which will hopefully be a regular event on the College calendar.

Year 9

Last week, the Year 9 students were treated to a delightful afternoon tea at the Kindergarten. The Echidna group put on a fantastic performance, sharing a story they had been working on, which brought smiles to everyone’s faces. To top it off, the Kinder kids treated us to fairy bread, adding a sweet and nostalgic touch to the day.

This special event was a wonderful way to finish off a year of collaboration between the Year 9 students and the Kindergarten. Thank you to the Echidna group and their teachers for their warm hospitality and creativity throughout the year!

Food Tech

This week in Food Tech, our Year 8 students put their creative culinary skills to the test! Using seasonal rhubarb and pantry staples, they transformed simple ingredients into a range of delicious dishes.

From tangy Rhubarb pies and scrolls, to intricate choux pastry creations and delightful cookies, the students demonstrated their ability to adapt recipes and think on their feet. It was the perfect way to wrap up the year - an awesome final lesson filled with creativity, teamwork, and delicious results. Well done Year 8!
