Drama Club Update

We're excited to let you know about our Drama students' immersive theatre project: History's Mysteries!

What is Immersive Theatre?

Immersive theatre breaks the traditional boundaries of stage and audience. You'll be able to move freely around the performance space, choosing your own viewpoint and getting up close to the action. It's a unique and engaging way to experience theatre!

The Story:

Our students will delve into the fascinating world of museums and cultural artifacts, exploring questions of ownership, repatriation, and the mysteries behind historical objects. Can you crack the mystery and find out what was stolen, who stole it, and who it belongs to?

Staff Achievement - Pathways to Leadership Course

Pathways to Leadership Program

In 2023, the College introduced a leadership program for interested staff. It was designed to meet the needs of current Middle Leaders (PORs) and Aspirant Leaders; both teachers and Education Support staff.

Module 1 : People, Purpose and Meaning

This module explores the impact of great leaders, identifying and developing leadership strengths, developing others and exploring the elements of high performing teams. The group also learns how to ‘put yourself out there’ and craft stories to authentically build collaborative relationships and prepare for future job applications. Participants also design, plan and implement a mini-project during the six weeks in between the two modules. The projects are intended to utilise leadership skills to address problems of practice.

Module 2 : The Complex Layers of Leadership (The Onion)

The second module explores the following elements of leadership:

Adaptive styles and Emotional Intelligence

Confusion to solution

Qualities and character strengths

Looking after YOU - Health and Wellbeing

As a celebration in Module 2, participants also present their mini-project plan and share outcomes with colleagues and the Principal Team. Congratulations to our 2024 graduates listed below:
