Sustainable snapshot

In Term 4 students have enjoyed returning to our vegetable garden for some weeding, planting and watering. Next year this garden will be returning to full use with gardening club starting up again and students having ownership over maintaining and managing the planting and picking of this functioning garden. 

Zac and Dean from Year 5 were lucky enough to find the last carrot in a very late harvest. 

A huge thank you to students from 1C for going above and beyond with their cleaning efforts in our yard. These students took it upon themselves to collect rubbish from around the school. Well done 1C, our school yard and environment thanks you! 

Well done to our amazing Marine Team for 2024. They have been responsible for wonderful events during the year including Clean Up Australia Day, World Oceans Day, National Recycling Day and the Battery Blitz competition. 

This year they have worked in classrooms to share their knowledge and passion for helping the environment and have made our school a more sustainable one.
