Foundation
We can't believe we are already over halfway through Term 4! We have been very busy with our learning over the past couple of weeks. Have a look at what we have been up to!
Numeracy
In Numeracy, we have been learning about patterns. The students have created many repeating patterns represented in different ways. They have been working hard on explaining their thinking on the type of pattern they have created as well as how they know what comes next.
Writing
Throughout our writing lessons, we have been working on narratives. Students have been creating silly stories that include a character, a setting, a problem and a solution. They create these orally with a buddy and were then able to share these with their class. We have also begun to write our stories in our books. Have a look at our amazing story writing!
Fire Education
Last week on Thursday we were very lucky to have fire fighters visit us at school. They told us all about good and bad fires, making sure we always have a parent supervising, staying low if there is smoke and fire, checking if we have smoke detectors in our house and who to call for emergencies and non-emergencies. We can't wait for them to come back so we can learn more!
