We can’t believe the year is about to come to an end and what a wonderful year it has been!
It has been an absolute pleasure to see how much our students have developed and grown in so many ways.
This term we have had a science focus, making predictions and scientific observations, discovering how living things change and what they need to live by doing an animal research report. The children have had a lot of fun engaging in science experiments, leaning how to write a hypothesis, doing the experiment and recording the results. Our experiment included making a play-dough volcano and seeing what happens when we mix vinegar and bi-carb soda inside.
We also put food colour and water in a jar to see what would happen when we put celery in the coloured water for a couple of days.
Our current experiment is based on the Three Little Pigs where the children have built their own house that cannot be blown over. Let’s see what happens when I bring my hair dryer in this week….there might need to be a few repairs!
Well done to our sport teams last week. We had a great time participating in our athletic games. Congratulations to Pangerang, this year’s winners!
We wish you a very happy and safe Christmas
