Exciting News: Our School Kitchen Renovation Is Complete!

We are thrilled to announce that the much-anticipated renovation of our school kitchen has been successfully completed. The new facilities are nothing short of impressive, providing a modern, bright, and spacious environment that both students and staff are sure to appreciate.

The upgraded kitchen is now equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and tools that will greatly enhance our cooking and nutrition programs. From advanced ovens and induction cooktops to expanded preparation areas and improved storage solutions, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to support effective learning and hands-on experience.

These improvements are already making a positive impact in the classroom. Students are enjoying a more engaging and practical learning environment, where they can confidently develop vital culinary skills and a deeper understanding of healthy eating. Our dedicated teachers are also benefiting from the efficient layout and reliable equipment, allowing for smoother lesson delivery and greater creativity in the kitchen.

TAS

Year 11 Design & Technology 

Year 11 Design and Technology students have been working hard to complete their final projects and folios, bringing together the design process, research, experimentation, prototyping and evaluation skills they have developed throughout the year. It has been great to see students refine their ideas, solve design problems and produce increasingly considered and creative outcomes.

As students now transition into Year 12, they are beginning to kickstart their Major Design Project, exploring genuine needs and opportunities, developing initial concepts and considering possible directions for their projects. This is an exciting stage of the course as students begin a major body of work that will continue throughout their HSC year.

We are also looking forward to hopefully moving into the newly built C Block facilities soon. The new spaces and equipment will provide students with greater opportunities to develop, prototype and manufacture their designs using a range of modern technologies and practical resources. It will be an exciting new chapter for Design and Technology as our students begin their Year 12 journey.

Year 12 Multimedia 

Year 12 Multimedia students have been busy putting the finishing touches on their Major Projects, bringing months of planning, designing and problem-solving to a close. Students have produced a diverse range of multimedia projects, demonstrating their creativity and developing skills across areas such as animation, filmmaking, graphic design and video editing.

With Major Projects now complete, students are turning their attention to preparing for their HSC examinations. We wish our Year 12 Multimedia students all the best as they revise, refine their knowledge and prepare to finish their HSC journey!
