HSIE

This term has been a busy and exciting one for both our teachers and students. As the weather warms up, so do our projects across the HSIE faculty.

Our gardening project continues to flourish, with junior classes engaging in practical activities that complement their studies of landscapes and landforms, urban spaces, and global connections. This hands-on initiative provides opportunities to explore how people interact with places, encouraging teamwork and a sense of responsibility.

Students are also developing their knowledge of environmental management and are looking forward to an upcoming on-site study that will complement their classroom learning.

In Geography, students participated in an excursion to vibrant Chinatown, connecting classroom theory with real-world experiences. This opportunity encouraged students to observe and reflect on social and environmental changes within a dynamic community setting.

As we approach the end of Term 3, the whole school community is busy preparing for the HSC examinations. We would like to take this opportunity to farewell our Year 12 graduates and wish them all the very best for their futures. We are proud of their achievements and resilience, and we look forward to hearing about their successes beyond school.
