Every two years, the College participates in surveys conducted by ISV, called the LEAD School Effectiveness Surveys. They provide a benchmark to show what is being done well and what could be done better. LEAD stands for Listen, Evaluate, Act, Deliver—which is a concise summary of how schools can interpret and build on LEAD survey results. Parent satisfaction, student satisfaction, quality of teaching, peer support and staff technology are all part of the assessment and receive a mark out of 10. The data obtained from these surveys is used throughout the College as an important measure of community success and contributes to our improvement planning process. Analysing the results longitudinally helps us identify trends and evaluate the effectiveness of our initiatives.
The last survey was undertaken in Term Three 2022, a time of challenge and significant change for the College. Two years on, the survey will provide an important measure of our current climate, performance and direction – as set out in our new Strategic Plan 2024-2028.
The LEAD Parent Survey is now live. You will also be sent the link again with further information later this week. I encourage as many of you as possible to assist by providing this important feedback. The surveys close on Friday 6 September.
