Highlights
Selamat sore 3/4 families!
This week the Independence Centre were excited to welcome Sophie Ogilvie (Deakin Student Teacher) for a three week placement. She will be working in 3/4K, but students in other classes have already enjoyed making connections with her too.
There was no better way to start off our week after a curriculum day by celebrating Ros' upcoming wedding. Students enjoyed the opportunity to stage a practise wedding and give their well wishes for her big day.
In Maths, students worked on developing their fluency and awareness of various multiplication strategies including skip counting, vertical multiplication and arrays.
In Guided Inquiry students enjoyed investigating and comparing a day in the life of an MPRPS student to school life overseas. Some differences included how classrooms like like, the length of a school day and the subjects students learn.
Next Monday 3/4B will be presenting at assembly and we look forward to welcoming all families into the classrooms on Friday for our Open Morning.
Have a great week!
