ENPS School News

Introducing David Foley and Tandy Johnson

Principal News - Term 3 Week 7

On Monday we held our stall in the hall for students to purchase a gift for this coming Sunday: Father’s Day. There was a buzz in the hall as students browsed the tables before making a selection to pop onto their decorated bags. A huge thank you to the families that supported the stall and helped our students select gifts. Thank you to Rachel M for coordinating the stall and for all the time spent searching for those perfect gifts!

Yesterday the year 4-6 students were fortunate enough to hear Hayden from Hayden’s Helping Hands speak about the charity that he funded as a year 4 student. Students heard about the ways in which Hayden’s charity supports those experiencing homelessness or challenging times. It was terrific to see students gain an understanding of the some of the difficulties people experience when housing is no longer available to them. It was equally positive to see students articulate how grateful they are for how much they have.

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish my co- principal David Foley  ‘Bon Voyage’ as he heads overseas next week for a long awaited period of long service leave. He will be returning after the term break and we look forward to hearing about his adventures in Europe.
