Guest Speakers

This term we have had a Career’s focus during Advisory, which is very fitting as our students are engaging in subject selection conversations and our Year 12 students are deciding on their post school endeavours.

On Tuesday, our senior students were provided with a presentation from Mitch Barry, Apprenticeship Program Coordinator from O’Connor’s. Today our 9-12 students heard from past student Courtney Sait who is currently studying Nursing at University of Tasmania. We would like to thank both of our guest speakers for sharing their pathway stories with us. Both presenters encouraged our students to participate in work experience, know that it is ok to defer and change courses, ensure mental and physical health is a priority and to say yes to opportunities which include travel.

We would also like to thank North Central LLEN for their partnership and assistance with our Advisory program.
