Year 7 Geography Expo

This term in Year 7 Humanities students study Geography and part of this exploration includes examining water in our world.

For several weeks, Year 7 students have been conducting an inquiry into the water usage, issues and management in a selected country, to create a visual display showing their findings.

Students choose their country and examine the key geographical prompts of

Space

Place

Interconnection

Change

Environment

Sustainability and

Scale

Through these they discuss water use and management and in addition present their findings on the country’s climate.

As part of this task, students asked members of the Shelford community to visit their visual displays in their exclusive Geography Expo. They created engaging activities such as Blooket quizzes and wordsearches to create enjoyment for the visitors. It was truly an enjoyable event.

Thank you to students, parents and staff who came along!
