YEAR 1 - 2 CAMP

Well done to our Year 1 & 2 students and staff for enjoying their day camp to Camp Wyuna in Queenscliff on Tuesday, with the Year 1 students returning to school by 4.15pm and the Year 2 students by 7.00pm. Our Camping program is comprehensive. School camps help children build essential life skills including resilience, independence and teamwork by engaging in outdoor activities that boost their self-confidence, foster peer bonding and encourage positive relationships with their teachers. If you are not sure what our Camping program is, see below:

  • Prep - Activities after a day at school, including dinner, which finishes in the early evening.

  • Year 1-2 - Day Camp to Camp Wyuna in Queenscliff.

  • Year 3 - A long day camp at Anglesea, including dinner.

JUNE STUDENT REPORTS

On Thursday 18th June, parents/carers are scheduled to receive their child/ren’s June reports via Compass.

PARENT/CARER/TEACHER CONVERSATIONS

On Monday 15th June, parents/carers will receive a notification via Compass about how to book for Wednesday 24th June. The conversations are scheduled from 1.00pm - 6.00pm. All conversations on this day will be held in the P-2 building to enable parents/carers to walk through the gate, across the bridge and into the P-2 building to meet with teachers. This also prevents parents/carers of more than one child having to walk about the school looking for classrooms. Please note that with Ms Schefe, Ms Philp, Ms Doherty and Ms Elliott being on long service leave at this time, their conversations will be held in the first week of term three. Parents/carers of these students will receive a notification via Compass about how to book a time that suits them.

STUDENT SAFETY

A reminder that students are not permitted on school grounds until 8.40am as this is when staff commence yard duty. At the end of the day, staff are on duty until 3.30pm to support students until they are collected.
