School Council

Hi all,
Just writing to remind everyone that building and library fund donations to BSPS are tax deductible, if you are considering some end of financial year giving.
Our school has enjoyed a flurry of fantastic improvements over the past two years, including split-system air conditioning in every classroom, acoustic treatments in the STEM space, soccer goals and gaga pit, new carpet in the downstairs building, projector and large screen in the hall, the nature play area and fairy garden, and resurfacing the junior courts - to name just a few.
Together, these projects represent an investment of more than $150,000 in our school and have enhanced the learning, wellbeing and play experiences of BSPS students. To deliver these projects, the school has drawn heavily on Building Fund reserves accumulated over a number of years, and fundraising income, and those reserves have now been largely exhausted.
Every improvement is the result of our community's generosity, whether through a tax-deductible donation, supporting a fundraising event, or simply buying a sausage at a school BBQ. Every contribution counts, and every contribution is appreciated.
As we approach the end of the financial year, I invite families who are able to do so to consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Building Fund before 30 June. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us continue improving school facilities and creating great learning environments for our students. And we’d love to have the funds to add the final touches to the new nature play area this year!
