The Huddle

IPSHA Soccer

The second round of IPSHA Soccer, saw five Kambala teams playing on the oval. Parents and teammates cheered on both Kambala and the visiting school.

Everyone was treated to entertaining displays of team play, soccer skills, team camaraderie and sporting spirit amongst players.

Being a learning competition, the focus is on players to develop their soccer skills, team play and under a style of play that gives all the students the opportunity to learn, improve and develop as players and team members of the "beautiful game".

Year 3 Basketball

Our Year 3 students have recently started their Kambala Saturday sports journey. This term they are playing Basketball against SCEGGS and Ascham, with all games being played at the Heffron Centre in Maroubra.

All teams have been showing great skill, teamwork, and determination on the court. With the support of their coaches, the girls have improved their passing, shooting, and game strategy, building confidence with each match. Their hard work in training is paying off, and we’re so proud of their progress. We can’t wait to see them continue to grow and shine on the court.

Junior School Interhouse Swimming Carnival

The Junior School Interhouse Swimming Carnival was a spectacular event filled with energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit! In front of proud family and friends, our girls gave their absolute best in every race, displaying determination and sportsmanship. House pride was in full swing as students cheered passionately for their teammates and encouraged one another throughout the day.

The competition kicked off with the Open Primary 100m Championship, followed by a series of races featuring all strokes for swimmers aged 8 to 12, and concluded with thrilling House relays.

Congratulations to all students for their incredible efforts—it was truly a fantastic day!
