Boarding

Over the past two weeks, our Boarders have been involved in a range of exciting events, and it’s been a fantastic start to the school year.
One of the standout moments was the Senior School Swimming Carnival, held at the iconic Sydney Olympic Stadium. It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout from our Boarders, showcasing their enthusiasm and school spirit. A special mention goes to Holly (Year 7), whose outstanding performances were truly impressive and a highlight of the day.
In addition to the carnival, the Day School hosted two Learning in Focus sessions, offering invaluable insights for both students and parents. These sessions were recorded, and I encourage all parents to access them via Sundial. They are an excellent resource, supporting our ongoing commitment to academic growth and engagement at Kambala.
We also held the Year 7 Study Skills Evening, which was a highly beneficial event for our Year 7 boarders. All of them attended and gained practical strategies to enhance their study habits and time management—skills that will serve them well throughout their academic journey.
Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to the parents who were able to attend the recent Boarder Parents Zoom meeting. Your involvement and feedback are always deeply appreciated, and it’s heartening to witness the strong partnership between the school and our families.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our boarding community. We look forward to the many exciting events and achievements that the coming weeks will bring!
