Year 3 Community

Numeracy!

Recently the Year 3 superstars have been learning all about space/shape. We have been lucky enough to be able to use our amazing new building to explore locations and new environments in our beautiful school. 

As part of this unit, the students have been busy interpreting and creating two-dimensional representations of familiar environments and locating key landmarks and objects relative to each other.

Check out their fantastic birds eye view sketches of their new classrooms! They were even clever enough to discover that the carpet squares could be used as a way to scale the size of their objects!
