Spanish

Hi Grayling Families!
Here is what we are learning in Spanish right now!
Prep, 1’s & 2’s
These last few weeks, Prep’s, 1’s and 2’s have been working with a Spanish Program called Sparks, where 4 cute cartoon characters are teaching us different ways to say hello, goodbye, and ask each other the question ¿Qué tal? And ¿Cómo estás?, both versions of “How are you?” with some answers.
Here are all the words the Sparks have been teaching us!
Feel free to print these off and practise at home.
3’s - 6’s
These last few weeks, our 3’s to 6’s have been learning all the words to describe the members of our families. The 3’s and 4’s have been learning mainly the different vocab words, where the 5’s and 6’s have been learning the words and how to say sentences to describe their families, like this:
En mi familia hay cuatro personas. Mi madre, mi padre, mi hermana y yo.
In my family there are four people. My mother, my father, my sister and I.
From here we worked on making our own family trees in Spanish:
Here are some of the other family vocabulary words we have been learning:
