Everyone is well into the swing of Term 1 and the Library has been buzzing. Students and staff have been enjoying the daily Target Word game. This week Megan Turner put in a huge effort, finding a massive 45 words. Can you figure out what the nine-letter word of the day was?

Artisan of the Month

Congratulations to the winners of the February Artisan of the Month:

Voting was very tight this month, with only two points separating the top three student entries. Congratulations to the highly commended students Aila Mohammadi and Jayden Ngo:

The March AotM is now open. All details can be found on the Library Teams page – AotM channel. 

There are three categories - Student, Staff, and Family & Friends. Submissions can be emailed to library@wantirnacollege.vic.edu.au If it is a Family & Friends submission, please mention which student or staff member you are connected to, and when submitting please state in the email "I declare that this entry is all my own work".

Book Club

The first 2025 Book Club meeting was held this week. Students can join in every even week at Friday lunch time, in the Library 3 classroom, to discuss all things bookish. Come along and join in the book buzz!

The Readings Teen Advisory Board

Applications for the 2025 Readings Teen Advisory Board are now open. Students who would like to be part of a reading group that meets monthly online, gets free books, and have a work experience day at a publishing house can apply by 5pm, Monday 24 March 2025 to teenadvisoryboard@readings.com.au
