Year 1 have delved into the enchanting world of literature with the heartwarming tale, "Spoon." They were captivated by the adventures of this humble utensil and explored themes of self-acceptance and gratitude.

Following the story, students were engaged in vibrant discussions sharing their insights and perspectives. They pondered over the characters' emotions and actions. They made inferences about the story's underlying messages and themes. Year 1 brainstormed WOW Words as they explored the qualities and characteristics of this everyday object. They even created their very own “Spoon” character inspired by the text!
