Junior School Colour Run

Last Friday’s Junior School Colour Run was an amazing success, raising over $10,000 in support of Melbourne-based charity, Impact for Women.

Everyone had an awesome afternoon completing laps of our special Colour Run obstacle course, which made things much easier for our sneaky teachers to cover the kids head to toe in rainbow-coloured powder!

An amazing effort by the Junior School!

Harmony Day

We held a very successful Harmony Day on 20 March. The whole community got involved and it was wonderful to see the School awash with the colour orange on the day.

ARTWORK FOR HARMONY DAY

To acknowledge Harmony Day, the Junior School students created a beautiful collaborative art piece which included all students from ELC to Year 6. It showcases our differences but also that 'everyone belongs'.

Thank you to Jess Tham and the ELC and Junior School teachers. Be sure to walk through the Junior School Reception to view the artwork before the end of term.

ASRC FOOD DRIVE AND CUT FOR A CAUSE

Our food drive led to a massive collection of goods for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC). Thank you to everyone for their donations.

We also had a fun lunchtime of music and great supportive vibes during our annual Cut for a Cause. Esther Linivker, Year 1 teacher, along with eight students, raised over $5600 for the ASRC.

A very big thank you to David from Emphasis Hair who has been volunteering his time and hairdressing skills since our inaugural Cut for a Cause in 2011.

Flying Fox charity

Congratulations to Edward Butler and Elijah Slavinskis, Year 11, who managed to raise over $1200 for our newest charity partner, Flying Fox

Flying Fox aims to build connections between people with disability and the community through their fun and engaging programs.
