PFA Update

ELC and Junior School Welcome Picnic

It was a perfect warm autumn evening last Friday night, as members of our community gathered on The Green for the ELC and Junior School Welcome Picnic. 

 

The School was alive with kids frolicking and families socialising while enjoying the delicious sausage sizzle and icy poles generously provided by the PFA. 

 

Thank you to our wonderful PFA Junior School Vice-President Kim Johnston for making it all happen behind the scenes and to all the fabulous volunteers who helped out on the day, including Eleni Anastasiadis, George Anastasiadis, Luke Johnston, Jingjing Liu, Paul Munnerley and June Zhang.

 

A special shout out to students Grace Anastasiadis, Hannah Wu and Caitlin McCulloch (Year 8) and Timothy Anastasiadis and Rocky Johnston (Year 6) for helping to prepare and serve sausages and hand out icy poles. Thank you for lending a hand – it is very much appreciated.

Senior School House Athletics Canteen

On Tuesday this week, the PFA supported the Senior School House Athletics with a sausage sizzle and pop-up canteen at the Duncan Mackinnon Pavilion. 

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who braved the heat and helped cook and serve the hungry and thirsty athletes throughout the day: Penny Adeney, Cath Fifoot, George Lane, Natasha Lowe, Fiona Godfrey, Nicole Seuret-Batterham, Ray Becher, Lanka Nammuni, June Zhang, Michelle McCurdy, Serena Gray and Susan Short. This is a wonderful service for our community and we are very thankful for your involvement.
