Working out how to spend lunchtime and recess breaks can be unsettling for students.

Check out some of the current LUNCHTIME CLUBS on offer for your child at St Joseph's School!  Suggested by students and facilitated by teachers and students, there are many activities to fill their time with and to provide great social interaction with like-minded students with these common interests.  Talk to your child about the different activities that they might try during Term 1:

Transitioning Back to the School Year - Issues of School Refusal

While majority of our students have settled in remarkably well to the school year, if your child has shown any signs of distress by the idea of going to school, they may be feeling reluctant and show some signs of school refusal.  Sometimes a child or young person may appear to be feeling ill or unhappy the morning before school with a desire to stay home. They might even have an emotional reaction at the idea of leaving for school in the morning.
