Dental Van On-site

The Australian Smile Group dental service will be available on-site at Beaufort Secondary College from the 5th - 23rd of February. The service is available to children aged 2 - 17 years old and all children are eligible for a complimentary oral health screen. The Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS) provides financial funding of $1052 per child every two calendar years, for eligible children. Consent and Medical History forms were sent home with students on Monday the 5th February. No treatment will commence without prior consent. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please return the signed forms to the General Office as soon as possible as appointment spaces are limited.

Doctors In Schools

Our fortnightly Doctors in Schools Service (DISS) resumes this week and will continue throughout the year. This is a valuable service that we are incredibly fortunate to have access to. The doctor will be on-site on Thursday the 8th of February. If any students would like to arrange an appointment, please see either Jackie or Mrs Newberry.

Materials and Technology Room Upgrade

Prior to the end of 2023, the Materials and Technology room underwent some upgrades as part of the Year 11 Collaborative Design component in the Product Design and Technology class. In addition to new wall decor and a new layout, new tools were also purchased. The new setup will allow students to access most of their basic equipment, directly from their workbench, saving time and streamlining the production process.
