Religious Education
Term 1, Week 2
Our first Religion unit for the year is Come! Share the Spirit. Each class is learning about our prayer space, the history of St Joseph's, our crest, our motto, what sharing the spirit means and how we embed the Living Well, Learning Well framework.
The students are focusing on the three rules for living at St Joseph's and what we can all do to ensure we achieve these for ourselves and others.
Please ask your child/ren to share what they have been learning in Religion.
Last Tuesday we had a liturgy to celebrate the Feast day of St Brigid. Our Parish Church is named after St Brigid of Ireland.
All are invited to attend our Welcome to the New School Year Liturgy and School Leader Induction on Tuesday 13th February at 10.30am in the library.

Once established our 2024 Mini Vinnies group will get together to help those in need within our school and local community. Mini Vinnies introduces children to social justice issues, to the St Vincent de Paul Society and to living faith through action.
Please discuss joining the Mini Vinnies group with your child/ren who is in Yr 3 - 6.
Take care and kind regards,
