Principal's Message

Principal: Ken Darby

Assistant Principal: Meriden James

And just like that it’s the end of week four. What a great start to the year. We are delighted to see how our students have settled into their routines and are embracing the learning opportunities that have been provided, especially our preps who are very settled and learning our school routines really well.

With the weather fluctuating as wildly as it has been lately, it's important to ensure that our students stay hydrated throughout the day. We kindly remind all parents to ensure that their children bring their drink bottles to school every day. Having access to cold water at their tables is crucial, especially during these unpredictable weather conditions.

Year Levels Information Evening

We are really looking forward to our Year Levels Information Evening scheduled for Tuesday, the 27th of February. This event will provide valuable insights into our curriculum, programs, and classroom activities tailored to each specific year level.

  • Event Time: 4:30 – 6:30 pm
  • Session Schedule:
    • 5:00 pm: Information session for 1/2 students
    • 5:30 pm: Information session for 3/4 students
    • 6:00 pm: Information session for 5/6 students

School Tours: From 4:30 pm onwards, you are welcome to tour the school and visit your child's classroom.

The information evening on the 27th of February is your chance to meet our dedicated teachers, gain insights into our programs, explore our Specialist Spaces, and walk through classrooms to see firsthand how we support your child's learning and development. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions, share your thoughts, and engage with our school community. Please keep a look out for your weekly school email about the locations of each of these information sessions.

Prep Family Picnic

To our Prep families, we haven't forgotten about you! While your information night was held in 2023, we invite you to join us for a special Prep Family Picnic at Warrien Reserve, Croydon North, on Thursday the 29th of February at 5:00 pm. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with other Prep families in a relaxed setting. No need to RSVP - just come along and enjoy the evening. Mr. Darby, Mrs. James, Mrs. Cooper, and Miss Ross will also be there.

Have a great end to the week and an even better weekend.
