Year 10 Celebration Evening

Students, Parents and Teachers had a wonderful evening on Friday 1st December celebrating the Year 10 students' time at Merbein P10 College. It was a lovely way to send off a wonderful group who we wish nothing but the best in their future endeavours.

Presentation Night

On Monday night we celebrated all the students who excelled this year in different subject areas. We'd like to congratulate these students on a fantastic year and encourage them to keep up the good work.

Student Free Day

Don't forget our student free day tomorrow, Friday 15th December. No students are required at school.

Lake Day next Tuesday

This year we welcome back the Merbein tradition of going to Lake Cullulleraine on the last day of school. The expected temperature is 30 degrees which is perfect for a day at the lake where students and staff can:

cruise in a canoe
bring a speaker to play your favourite tunes while enjoying some snacks
play a 'competitive" game of cricket or volleyball against other students and staff
spend hours swimming in the lake or relaxing on your towel
just relaxing and prepare for the Summer holidays

To assist with catering, make sure you complete the permission form on Compass asap. If you wont be attending this Lake Day, please select decline on Compass.

Canteen

The school canteen will operate as per normal for the remainder of this week and next Monday.

The canteen will be open next Tuesday, but only selling drinks, icy-poles and chips.

THERE WILL BE BE NO LUNCH ORDERS on Tuesday.

The canteen will be closed Wednesday for cleaning.

Breakfast Club

Today is the final day of Breakfast Club for the year.

Textbooks for 2024

Students will be required to purchase textbooks for English and Maths. All textbooks can be ordered through Collins Booksellers Mildura on their website or by visiting their store in the Langtree Mall by the 20th December. All books ordered before this date will be delivered to the school before the start of the school year.

All students are required to buy the English textbook for their year level in 2024. Eg. If a student will be in Year 8 next year, then they will need to purchase the Oxford MyEnglish Victorian Curriculum Year 8 textbook.

Some Maths classes use different textbooks. You should have received an email from the Maths department with information on which Maths text book you need to purchase. If you have not received an email please call the College on 50 252 501.
