Class 1/2B - Fergus

For  lifting up those around you with your kindness and empathy. You show support to your classmates through words of encouragement or a helping hand, without having been asked to. Watching you interact with your peers inside and outside the classroom makes my heart so happy. Keep being you Fergus!

 

 

Class 1/2D - Sachi

For settling in beautifully to our class routines. We are so proud of the effort you are putting in to completing your work and showing our school values each day. Keep being such a great role model, Sachi.

 

Class 1/2K - Charlie

For his great work in Maths this week. Charlie you have impressed me with your mental strategies of addition. You have also locked into your learning extremely well this week. Keep up the good work. 

 

 

Class 1/2S - Aleida

For the outstanding way in which you demonstrate our school values each and every day. Aleida, you always listen attentively, consistently strive for excellence in your learning by completing all tasks to a high standard and work collaboratively and respectfully with others. Your kind, hard-working and thoughtful nature make you a valued member of 1/2S. Keep up the wonderful effort, superstar!

 

Class 3/4B - Sylvia

For the sensational effort that you have applied to your persuasive writing this week.  You successfully used a range of persuasive devices to convince the reader why your season was the best.  Your author’s voice continues to shine through in your writing as you continue to take risks with your learning.  Well done, legend!

Class 3/4N - Eleanor

For consistently including others and modelling our classroom expectations, you do a fantastic job including others and giving a helping hand. Well done on what you've achieved so far in your writing. You have written a very convincing persuasive text. Its great seeing you having a red-hot-go at different number patterns this week. Keep up the great work Eleanor!

Class3/4M - Millie

Class 5/6A - James

For embracing the Sovereign Hill experience. James, you were an incredible representative of Dana St Primary School. You showed determination when completing each of the tasks and did an excellent job portraying your character. You are a superstar!

 

Class 5/6J - Rohan

For displaying excellence as a student both in the 1850s and in the modern classroom this week. Rohan, you represented yourself and the school beautifully at Sovereign Hill and adapted your learning  back in time seamlessly. Keep up the great work!

Class 5/6P - Charlie

For the way they embraced the Grade Sovereign Hill experience. Charlie, you stepped back into the 1850s setting and engaged within all the activities. This didn’t go unnoticed, as you were offered an apprenticeship with Mr Jones’ merchandise shop. Keep up the great work legend!

Art - 5/6A

I commend each of you for the outstanding respect and responsibility showcased throughout our Art lesson this week. Your commitment to replicating our artist ‘Carmen Hui’ within your own interpretation was outstanding. I can’t wait to see the finished pieces. Keep up the fantastic work!

Performing Arts - 3/4N

For respecting the performers and excellence in acting out emotions this week.

Japanese - 1/2S

For the respect and care you showed when learning how to write your names in hiragana. Everyone focused on the writing task and tried their best! Your Japanese books all look amazing.

P.E. - 1/2S

For your wonderful listening and willingness to be risk takers. Great work this week, improving your discus throw technique!
