Welcome Foundation Students 2024

 It has been a wonderful start to the school year in our foundation classroom with so many students thrilled to finally be at school. We are enjoying watching students develop more confidence as they get use to the daily school routine and we are so happy to see so many new friendships blossoming. 

In Literacy students have been learning about letters, sounds and how to segment and blend words. While in Numeracy students have been active participants in lots of hands on tasks and games exploring counting, measuring and numbers to 10.

We asked some of our foundation students what makes them smile at school and this is what they said…

Archie said “he loves playing tag with his sister and his buddy.”

Lily said “she likes listening to stories.”

Aubrey said “he enjoys playing hide and seek with Matilda and Aubrey.”
