Interhouse Competition Draw:

SMCC Netball Team- Winter Season Tuesday night competition

On Tuesday night St Mary’s played a hard-fought semifinal against South Cairns Cutters. They struggled to make connections in the first period, finishing the quarter down by 2 goals. The team rallied in the second quarter to finish level at half time. It was goal for goal in the second half of the game, but St Mary’s dug deep to edge in front, finally taking the win by 4 goals. It was a stressful game for coach and parents, but we are all proud of the girl’s determination and grit. The team are straight through to the grand final which will be played on Tuesday 12th September.
