- Congratulations to Mr Shirvington’s 9.1 and Ms Marton’s 9.7 for making it into the last round of our basketball shootout! Stay tuned for overall winners to be announced!
- During Community PG, I spoke to students about stress and strategies to overcome it during assessment time. Some of the strategies include chunking information, asking teachers for help during lunch or work as a group and teaching each other concepts they have learnt. For further support, students are encouraged to approach me or one of our Guidance Counsellors here at the College.

- Our Year 10 Spirit Cup Challenge continued last week with a tied result for first place between Cahill and Heavey. Cahill has slightly extended their overall lead with 1 round to go this term. I’m keen to see what happens next term…

- Congratulations to our 2024 Prefects and House Captains! We look forward to working with such a dynamic group of students and expect the whole cohort to give their full support.
- We have SEL next Tuesday; we have been focusing on kindness and the concept of "sonder" this term. Students have been performing Random Acts of Kindness for the last few weeks and on Tuesday they will go through an affirmation exercise towards their peers.

Year 12
- With less than two school weeks to go until holidays, students are encouraged to ensure they are using their class time effectively in preparation for external exams.
- A reminder that an email went out a few weeks ago regarding Term 4 expectations for Year 12s. All students will attend normal school lessons for the first two weeks. VET students who have completed all of their certificate work can then stay home unless exams are on. Non-VET students are required at school for lessons on Monday of week 3 - following that there is some flexibility around attending additional classes of a subject if they are on the same line.
- Community PG this week on Monday in the Lecture theatre.
- Tuesday - SEL lesson period 2 - letters need to be finalised. Sport - continue dance practice, look at final table arrangements.
- Please click the link below for a map detailing arrivals drop off for the Year 12 Celebration Dinner. Students have organised drop off times so that arrivals move through smoothly. Please ensure you are adhering to those times.
