Tins for St Vinnies

St Vincent de Paul received our tins this week and were pleased to get such a collection. Pauline Kelly from St Vincent de Paul mentioned that there are numerous homeless people in our Community, many living in motor vehicles, who approach them every day for assistance. Thanks to everyone who helped out for this great cause.

Visit from Father Roger MSC 

Father Roger is an Old Collegian from 1968 who is now an MSC Priest. After spending many years in PNG, he returned to run the MSC Missions Office. It is to this office that much of our funds raised during Mission Fair Day are donated.

Father Roger stayed with us for a couple of days, visiting classes and passing on valuable stories about the importance of helping others, particularly in the areas of Health, Water and Environment.

With Mission Fair Day coming up at the end of term it was great for the students to gain an understanding of where our money goes and what it achieves.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be everywhere loved.
