Learning Journals

As part of the St Kilian’s Assessment and Reporting package, each student has a digital Learning Journal. Each term, students complete work that is marked by the teacher and put into each student’s digital Learning Journal. All Term 3 Learning Journals pieces will be available to view at the end of the term.

How to help your child with their home reading

There are many reasons why reading can be hard. Over the next few weeks there will be some suggestions to assist with reading in the five key components that make a good reader.

We hope you’ll use this information as a starting point! The best thing that can happen is for parents and teachers to begin working together to help a child strengthen the skills that are so crucial to learning to read.
