Condolences

This week, we have been saddened by the passing of Gary Robertson. Gary is a former pupil of SMJ. All of Gary's children attended SMJ, including his grandchildren (Ayva, Neeve, Cooper, Indianna and Jack). Gary's wife, Anna, affectionately known as Mrs. Robbo, has served our school for many years, which has continued since her retirement.

We also keep Clayton and Deacon P. and their parents, Josie and Chris, in our prayers on the passing of Chris's mother Cath. Cath is also connected to our SMJ family, having worked here as a Casual Relief Teacher.

Our deepest sympathies go out to you all and your families. May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek, and may the souls of your loved ones rest in peace.

Children Travelling on Bus - Notification Please

We ask that you contact the Office directly if there are changes to your child's travel arrangements. Some parents are sending messages via SeeSaw, which may not be seen in time for changes to the bus list to be conveyed to the Office. School Review

The school review and validation took place this week—many thanks to the staff, students and parents.

The feedback from the panel was very positive and affirmed the direction and the Key Priorities that have been identified for the next five years.

Still Overflowing

Our lost property bin continues to overflow. There is a collection of coats and rugby jumpers, all looking for their home. Please come in and check for any items that may belong to your child.

Toys at School

Please note that children are not permitted to bring toys from home. Staff can spend significant amounts of time looking for lost toys or consoling children whose toy has been broken.
