The rain did little to dampen our spirits this morning as our school community came together for our annual Father’s Day breakfast. It was a beautiful morning celebrating all the dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles and VIPs in the lives of our students with lots of yummy food and fun had throughout the morning.
A HUGE thank you must go to the Project Management team of Kaman (Owen & Mila’s mum), Catherine (Annabelle’s mum), Hyunkyung (Ellie & Evan's mum) and Adeline (Abby & Austin’s mum) who put so much thought and love into this event including hand making the gorgeous key ring gifts for the Dads. It was a brilliant morning and thank you so much for taking on the job of putting it all together! Also special thank you to Abby for helping make our signage & to Owen and Mila who helped to set up this morning! And finally to Ms Arnold who was also here bright and early helping us!
As always our school community was wonderful in supporting this event. Thank you to those who donated goods or their time this morning, especially to Kate & Nick (Hugh & Aggie’s parents) for getting South Melbourne Bakery on board again (be sure to visit them this Sunday when looking for treats for Dad!) and to Billie (Ed & Rafferty’s mum) & Emily (Luca & Bay’s mum) for the wonderful photo wall and kids craft activities. A shoutout too to Park Lane Coffee for helping everyone wake up with a warm caffeine fix!
We hope everyone enjoyed the morning and Happy Father’s Day for Sunday!
Thank you to everyone for their support of Disco Bingo this year. It was a fabulous night and well done to the Disco Bingo organising committee (SJ, Lou, Jo, Laura, Sonia, Steve & Amanda). We would also like to especially thank our resident DJ (& MC) Michael and our MC’s Freya & Bryan for donating their time and keeping the night running smoothly. Thank you also to Billie for setting up our fabulous photo station. We are thrilled to report that the night raised $10,101.08 for our school.
Thank you all once again for your support and looking forward to an even bigger event in 2024!
We need a lead guitarist, bass player and a drummer to be part of the 2024 Parents Battle of the Bands. A fantastic event where 1000 primary school parents from the city of Port Phillip celebrate music together in May at the Prince Band Room, St Kilda. Ideally the musicians are parents but grandparents, uncles, aunties or any other carers are a possibility. Don't hesitate to contact james.tutton08@gmail.com (0412 547 235) if you're interested. Here is the 2022 PBOB promo video. Their YouTube channel is: https://www.youtube.com/@ParentsBattleoftheBands
