Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden

Last week Grade 3/4 students were very excited to get their kitchen knife licences in the canteen. They were shown how to hold their hands like bear paws so they couldn’t cut their fingers and then practiced chopping up cucumbers. Once they had their licences, they went on to prepare a garden salad. They also learnt about kitchen safety and various ingredients. 

Garden Donations

If anyone has any small logs at home that they would like to donate to the school to put in the garden, it would be greatly appreciated. We would like to use them as small seats and tables in the garden areas.
