Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

 This year as you are probably aware our Kindergarten participated in the Imagination Library Program which consisted of 6 free books that were sent home to families to read and also used as focus books at kindergarten.

We saw lots of benefits of the program in our classes as children were keen to engage with these familiar books that they had just received at home and we could use these books as a way to encourage a love of literacy and to build on children's comprehension skills. We often used the books as a springboard for more learning. We are considering applying to continue this program in 2024.
