Student Wellbeing

Term 3

As Term 3 begins to wind down, I reflect upon how our students and families have yet again, shown resilience and adaptability navigating the challenges this term has presented. Taking the time to reflect with our children on ways they have handled challenges, solved problems, managed friendship concerns or reached goals is a valuable strategy on many levels.

Reflecting can bring happiness and gratitude, help us think of alternate ways to manage situations should they occur again and identify how we have achieved goals.

Some questions to ask could be:

• What were you most proud of this term and why?

• What was a challenge you experienced in the past term?

• How did you overcome your challenge and what did you learn from this?

• How were you a good friend this past term?

• What was something new you learnt about your friendships?

SRC Meeting Minutes

Please find attached the SRC minutes from last week's meeting.

We had Leza Cullen from Banyule Youth Services come to talk about the upcoming Youthfest!  It sounds like a fantastic, inclusive event and we hope you can get down there!
