Teaching & Learning

It has been a wonderful term of learning and I thank-you all for your partnership in your child's learning.   "It takes a village to raise a child" is a proverb meaning an entire community—family, friends, teachers, and education support staff must interact positively to create a safe, healthy environment for children to thrive.

We have continued our Rapid Reading program this year,  providing support for students with the opportunity to practise learnt phonics skills, building on our existing PLD program which is implemented across the school.

Next term we welcome Mrs Carmichael who will run our Literacy Lift support program for students at risk.  Notes will go home to these students involved in the program during Week 1.

Visiting the library and reading books is a must over the holidays.  Let's continue to develop a love of reading!  Some quick number fact revision could also be great.  But please enjoy the holidays and stay safe.
