YEAR 3

FROM THE TEAM
The term is flying by! Students are settling well into their classrooms and routines, and it’s wonderful to see them engaging so positively with their learning.
This week in Maths, students started learning about Statistics. They practiced collecting data and answering questions about what the data showed, helping them see patterns and think carefully about information.
In Reading, we focused on building vocabulary and summarising the main idea of texts. Students enjoyed identifying key points and understanding the overall message of what they read.
In Writing, students have begun preparing for NAPLAN. We practised planning our writing and building writing stamina. We even completed a practice NAPLAN test to help students feel more confident and less anxious about the test.
It’s been a week full of learning, practising new skills, and building confidence in both maths and literacy!
