ITALIAN
This term in Italian, the Grade 5/6 students have been working on an exciting project: creating Italian treasure hunts! These put into practice the directional language they've been learning in class. Each hunt begins in the Italian room and guides the player through four different locations around the school, using Italian instructions and clues. The students have shown great creativity and enthusiasm in designing their treasure hunts, including fun story ideas and interesting challenges.
To ensure all students experience both sides of the activity, another class will complete the hunts created by their peers. This way, everyone gets the opportunity to both design a treasure hunt and participate in one. It’s been a fantastic way to reinforce language skills in a fun, hands-on way, while also encouraging collaboration and problem-solving.
