Bayside Spring Fair 2025

What an amazing day we had at the Bayside Spring Fair, Promoting our school and showcasing the vibrant spirit and talent within our community. 

Congratulations to all our amazing students and staff who took part in the Bayside Spring Fair performances! Your hard work and talent truly shined, making the event a memorable celebration of our school community. Well done to everyone involved!

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to support us – including staff, current students, former students, and our Local Members of Parliament, the Honourable Matt Thistlethwaite MP, Labour Member for Kingsford Smith, and the Honourable Ron Hoenig, State Member for Heffron in the New South Wales Parliament.

Year 8 Gala Day 

We are extremely proud of our Year 8 students who took part in the Sydney Eastern Suburbs Zone Schools Gala Day, competing in Soccer and Oz Tag. They showcased impressive skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a friendly and exciting environment. 

The event was a great opportunity for students to engage in healthy competition, build school spirit, and strengthen friendships. 

We congratulate all participants for their outstanding efforts and a big thank you to Ms Evans, Ms Welch and Ms Johnson for your support on the day and leading up to the Gala Day! 

Raising the Flags

We were honoured to have our senior executive representatives, staff, and students raising the flags for the first time on our newly installed flagpoles. 

We were joined by Aunty Karen Brown OAM, an alumnus of J J Cahill Memorial High School and the school’s first Aboriginal student alumna. It was a deeply moving moment, and we were privileged to have Aunty Karen Acknowledge Country as our student leaders proudly raised the flags. 

We extend our gratitude to Ms Mougios for her support in facilitating the installation of the flagpoles, as well as to our local MP, the Hon Matt Thistlethwaite, for donating the flags.

Eastern Suburbs NSW Schools Tenpin Bowling Competition

We are very proud of our 4 Support Unit Students who competed and took 2nd place in the Eastern Suburbs NSW Schools Tenpin Bowling Competition on August 18th. 

Congratulations to Zhane, Jayden, Kadir and Alex and Good Luck in the State Finals in Week 10!
