5/6A:EndGame for 2025.

Money, Money, Money Incursion
As part of our Economics and Business inquiry, 5/6A were involved in an incursion investigating important economic ideas such as needs and wants, opportunity cost, and trade-offs. They took part in engaging games that helped them understand how supply and demand affect prices in the marketplace.
5/6A worked in business teams to purchase, create, and sell products, exploring how supply, demand, and government decisions shape economic results. Through hands-on games and activities, they developed decision-making, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in an enjoyable, real-world learning experience.
Kinder Visit: Grade 5’s
Last week, our Grade 5A students proudly represented SJV during their visit to Wellington Kindergarten as part of the school’s ‘Future Leaders’ program.
With enthusiasm and confidence, the students led a series of engaging rotational activities designed to challenge and inspire the kinder children. It was wonderful to see our emerging leaders demonstrating teamwork, patience, and responsibility as they guided their younger peers through each task. The session was filled with smiles, learning, and a true sense of community spirit.
Adam Wallace Visit
Last week, SJV was buzzing with excitement as author Adam Wallace launched his brand new graphic novel about the adventures of a superhero called Hatman! Adam’s energetic and entertaining session had everyone laughing and inspired. Students were captivated by his storytelling and creative ideas, and they loved learning how to bring their own imaginative stories and illustrations to life. It was a fun-filled visit that left everyone feeling like real authors and artists!
