Making HPS an Excellent Community
The saying "your school is what you make it" truly rings true at HPS. We are fortunate to have so many families actively making our community welcoming and inclusive through their participation.
Our recent Bunnings BBQ was a great success, raising significant funds for the Junior Playground. A massive thank you to Darren Keating and every volunteer who helped make the day possible!
We also extend our gratitude to Kim Steel, Monica Bender, and the Parent Club volunteers organizing the upcoming Colour Run on Friday, November 28th. Thanks to your efforts, we are very close to reaching our Junior Playground funding goal!
Thank you as well to all our regular, weekly volunteers who continually support our students in the classrooms. Finally, it was wonderful to see so many families at the Open Classroom on Tuesday. Your enthusiastic participation in these events is what makes HPS an excellent community!
Celebrating Student Talent
We are fortunate to have many students with differing gifts and talents.
A huge congratulations to Darcy for representing Highton Primary at the Regional Athletics Carnival in Melbourne. Darcy ran exceptionally well and achieved fourth place in the 200-meter sprint. Well done, Darcy!
Wedding Wishes for Ms. Tresize
The HPS community sends our warmest wishes and biggest congratulations to our wonderful Grade 1 teacher, Grace Tresize, who is getting married next week. We hope you have a magnificent wedding day and a joyful start to your life together.
